The role of back fat detection:
- If the swine is too fat, It has less reproductive performance, waste feed, increase farm costs;
- Too less back fat, It will drop the utilization years;
- sow too fat means more heat intolerance. Its heart, lung, limb hoof will be overburdened. Its hormone imbalances will cause a series problem;
- If the swine is too thin, it used too much body storage, and it is bad for multiplication;
- Pregnant pig being too fat easily leads to stillbirth, or even sow death;
- Keep a good balance of the back fat will keep the swine performance at a high level.
